Acceptable Use Policy

Guidelines for the professional and proper use of the Totalsoft platform.

1. Prohibited Activities

You may use our platform only for lawful purposes. You may not use the platform:

  • In any way that breaches any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
  • In any way that is unlawful or fraudulent, or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect.
  • To transmit, or procure the sending of, any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material (SPAM).
  • To knowingly transmit any data, send or upload any material that contains viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time-bombs, or any other harmful programs.

2. Professional Conduct

As a professional Garage Management System, users are expected to use the communication features (SMS and Email reminders) in a professional manner. You must not use these features to harass, threaten, or abuse customers or any third party.

3. System Integrity

You agree not to:

  • Reproduce, duplicate, copy, or re-sell any part of our platform in contravention of the terms.
  • Access without authority, interfere with, damage, or disrupt any part of the platform, equipment, or network on which the platform is stored.
  • Attempt to circumvent security measures or gain unauthorised access to other user accounts.

4. Content Standards

Any content you upload to the platform (customer records, service descriptions, notes) must:

  • Be accurate (where they state facts).
  • Be genuinely held (where they state opinions).
  • Comply with applicable law in the UK and in any country from which they are posted.

5. Suspension and Termination

Failure to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy constitutes a material breach of our Terms of Service. We may take actions including:

  • Immediate, temporary, or permanent withdrawal of your right to use our platform.
  • Immediate, temporary, or permanent removal of any posting or material uploaded by you.
  • Issue of a warning to you.
  • Legal proceedings against you for reimbursement of all costs.
